One year ago, the leading manufacturer of SMT production equipment Essemtec AG has entered the Polish market directly, by founding Essemtec Poland. The permanent presence in Poland guarantees a better service and support structure for Polish customers.
Following the strategy of other European markets, Essemtec has founded a subsidiary in Warsaw, Poland beginning of last year. Essemtec's target is to improve the direct customer relationship and to increase sales and marketing activities in Eastern Europe. Marketing and Sales Manager Miroslaw Borkowski knows Essemtec products very well--he has been working for Essemtec’s ex-distributor in Poland for many years.
Essemtec's Swiss quality high-precision product portfolio is well positioned to serve the semiconductor and surface mount assembly markets in Poland. Essemtec Poland delivers complete turnkey solutions from one source with printers, dispensers, assembly machines and reflow ovens. The product range also includes storage systems, handling equipment and software including process know how, from one source, providing significant time and cost benefits to customers.
“To be directly active in the market does not just mean selling directly,” Mirek Borkowski states. “It also means having direct service.” For this reason Essemtec Poland has established its own service structure here in Poland that offers a local service and support in all Polish regions. The advantages are obvious, Essemtec Poland can offer a significantly cost reduced machine servicing, a quick delivery of spare parts to the customer, as well as a decrease of machine downtime.

Essemtec Poland will exhibit the new inline pick-and-place machine Pantera-XVC at the upcoming Automaticon exhibition. Until recently, this machine was available only as standalone model. Today, customers can chose their inline configuration from single, dual or three stage conveyor systems with SMEMA interface. This new option increases the possibilities and capabilities of SMT production. Pantera-XV pick-and-place systems are becoming more flexible, offering the possibilities of large as well as small production runs.
